Frequently Asked Questions

How long does this dragon tattoo last?

It lasts up to 2 weeks before fading on its own as your skin naturally renews. Your skin type, where you place it and how you care for it all affect how long it stays.

Why does it look pale when I first put it on?

That's normal. The plant-based genipa ink goes on light, then develops into a realistic blue-black tattoo over the next 24 to 48 hours. Give it a day or two before you judge the colour.

Can I shower or swim with it?

Once it's developed it handles everyday showers fine. Just avoid long soaks, saunas and scrubbing during the first 24 hours while it's still setting.

How do I remove it or make it fade faster?

It can't be washed or peeled off instantly. It fades gradually on its own as the top layer of skin renews, and high-friction areas tend to fade a little quicker.

Where's the best place to wear it?

At 15 x 23 cm it's made for larger spots. The chest and collarbone suit it best, or wrap it over the top of a shoulder so the mane can flow.

Should I do a patch test first?

Yes, we recommend a patch test before first use so you can see how your skin responds before applying the full design.
